Jinu Matthews

Jinu Mathew is a teacher, psychologist, professional dancer and choreographer living in Darwin. Having choreographed various programs in Australia, India, Switzerland and Saint Luci, she started her dance school – Transwings Dance Studio in 2016. Since then she has been working with Indigenous communities in Northern Territory with her cross-cultural dance workshops. Jinu fuses Afro-Jazz, Bollywood, Indian Classical, Kathak, Bachata, Soca Caribbean and Contemporary dance forms creating a highly charged and energetic workshops. Jinu Mathew uses the traditional origins of dance and cultural exchange to inspire communication.
