Head Circus Trainer
With a passion for the ridiculous he has perfected skills that most people think impossible such as juggling ping-pong balls with his mouth and riding a 7-foot unicycle while on a treadmill.
He trained from 2010- 2012 at the National Institute of Circus Arts, becoming one of Australia’s best jugglers, unicyclists and freestanding ladder balancers. And trained for 6 months at the Philippe Gaulier Ecole de Clown in Paris, France in 2022.
He represented Australia by performing at the Cirque de Demain circus competition in Paris in 2012. He also stars in the ABC and Chinese TV co-production, kids circus TV show “Hoopla Doopla” as Zap the comic unicycling postman.
He is a founder of the comedy trio "Splash Test Dummies" to great acclaim and rave reviews in The Age comparing it to “Bay Watch meets The Three Stooges”
Has produced and performed in two solo circus physical comedy shows "Sweetie" and "Totally Plucked". Performing them in Melbourne, Adelaide, Edinburgh and Madrid.
In his spare time he runs the non for profit company League of Laughs which operates the Adelaide Juggling Convention and Clown O'clock.
He also plays wing defence for the Melbourne Infernos Unicycle Hockey team, won the Geelong Buskers Festival in 2011 and has a very famous Grandma.
Simon's specialties are unicycling, clowning and being loud!
