We’re seeking twelve young artists to work alongside award-winning theatre maker, Alyson Evans, in this exciting new creative development. 


Based on CIYA’s beginnings in a shed, ideas will be explored, and content created in this initial two-day development that will go on to be shown as part of Brown’s Marts 50th birthday celebrations in September 2022. 


Open to keen participants aged 12 – 18 years. Just bring lunch, a waterbottle, comfortable clothes and enthusiasm!

Hang out, socialise and play! Corrugated Iron will be at the Darwin Waterfront for LAUNCH@TheBeach with a bunch of cool circus activities to try. This is a FREE, action-packed afternoon of fun and active recreation including a circuit and a team comp with ball sports, water games and more.

We’re celebrating Brown’s Mart’s 50th birthday and Tracks will gift a large-scale pop up dance performance!  Drawn from the decades of Brown’s Mart existence - dance from the 70’s to the ‘00s rushing towards a grand finale. Come and pop lock and drop it with Spillett who will be teaching two dance routines; one to represent the noughties and tens and the finale. This short series will provide a performance opportunity in September for those who would like to participate in our gift to Browns Mart. 

Spillett began their dance journey late in high school as a curious and passionate performer. Known for their big smile, energy and playful work. Spillett is one of the Youth Dance Animateurs of Tracks Dance Community, focusing on mentoring and creating a safe, fun space for emerging artists.

Trip the light fantastic with some of Darwin’s most thrilling new circus artists as they conjure up a world filled with precarious and spellbinding feats that will inspire audiences of all ages. Devised by Corrugated Iron’s Circus Troupe, this new work is bursting to the brim with mystery, moody music, and mayhem. Corrugated Iron’s Circus Troupe is a dedicated group of young and emerging artists from a range of backgrounds, that meet weekly to develop their skills and train their bodies. Expect extraordinary circus feats that express their unique artistic voices.

Conjure is proudly presented as part of the 2022 Darwin Fringe Festival.

Tempo is the new show from the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, Australia's National Youth Circus. A highly distinguished musician has arrived to conduct their latest Symphony, but the orchestra is nowhere to be found! Fortunately, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus kids are ready to come to the rescue. Tempo features an ensemble of young performers aged 11 – 18 years who will flip, juggle, balance and dive their way into your heart.
