BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
Corrugated Iron Youth Arts is one of the Northern Territory's premiere arts organisations delivering programs across the Top End. Working across the education, health and arts sectors, projects are diverse and multiartform.
Expressions of interest are sought to fill casual vacancies on the Board of Management. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about the joining the board and to express your interest.
The organisation is keen to strengthen the diversity of its board and encourages people outside of the arts sector with an interest in young people's creative development to express interest.
TEACHING ARTISTS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WORKERS
Corrugated Iron delivers a significant outreach program across the Top End. We work across all artforms.
If you are interested in casual project work, remote or urban work, community engagement, community celebrations, we may just have the gig for you.
To register for work with Corrugated Iron, there are a few crucial steps:-

* Send an up to date CV or resume to
* We will get you in for a chat [or if you are outside of Darwin, we can catch up via phone or zoom, or if we come to your neighbourhood, can meet in person]
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING FOR TEACHING ARTISTS
Even if you don't work directly with Corrugated Iron, you may interested in attending our professional development sessions.
Run quarterly [at least], they include warm up games, behaviour management strategies, how to engage, spotting, teaching strategies...

Corrugated Iron has created a number of paid intern positions who will join our marketing team, jump in to run promotions, and tell the world about our impressive young people in the Territory.
Do any of these areas spark your interest?
Social Media… Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TicTok
Talking… Building connections, talking on radio, creating partnerships, briefing designers, running information and activity stalls at events, front of house
Writing… Journalism, blogs, press releases, specialist articles
Visual Media and Design… Photography, filming, design - newsletter, poster, advertising, website
Creative thinking… Creating new ideas and initiatives to promote young people and the arts
The intern positions are flexible roles, they can be project specific, fit into school holidays or be a regular weekly gig.
To get involved, send through an Expression of Interest answering the questions below and let us know what skills you have and what you would like to learn as part of our marketing team. This could include anything from the list above or any other great thoughts you might have!
