The Workshop Program provides room to explore the artform, and to develop confidence as a creator and performer, as well as broadening social networks, and providing social and emotional development. Classes are run in line with school terms, and delivered in Nightcliff and Palmerston.

A introduction to performance through theatre games, story-telling, music and movement.

Developing performer confidence through theatre games, story telling, character development, basic stage skills and an introduction to creating short performance pieces.

Introduces participants to working with scripts whilst continuing to build skills through improvisation, character development and devising a short performance.

Drama Ensemble 15-18 years
Participants develop stage confidence and audition capacity through an exploration of theatre styles. As an ensemble they will devise and create performance seasons.

Ground Based Circus
Little Rockets, 6-8 years
An introduction to circus with an emphasis on body awareness, and developing coordination and balance. Participants will focus on basic acro and tumbling as well as exploring circus toys [hula hoops, poi etc].

Dynamite Circus, 9-16 years
Building strength and flexibility through conditioning, participants will further develop acrobatics and manipulation as well as beginning to specialise their particular skills.

Palmerston Circus, 6-16 years
An introduction to basic circus skills, including tumbling, juggling, acro balance and other circus toys and manipulation. Great for facts, coordination , strength and flexibility.
PALMERSTON – Tuesday 5:00 - 6:30pm
Ninja Circus, 11-18 years
Includes elements of parkour, acrobatic tumbling and circus. Participants gain the confidence, fitness and focus required to achieve the leaping and balance skills needed to be a modern day Ninja.

Circus Troupe (by invitation or audition)
A group of dedicated circus enthusiasts developing their specialty area
(on ground and in the air) and collaborating to create performances.

Flight School 101, 9-15 years [beginner aerial]
Focusing on building strength, body awareness and aerial vocabulary, participants will be introduced to tissu, trapeze and aerial strength training.

High Flyers, 10-17 years [intermediate aerial]
Prerequisite – one term of Flight School or approved experience.
Participants will hone their aerial skills, coordination and strength, and begin to develop performance pieces and routines as well as beginning to focus on individual apparatus.
