Corrugated Iron Youth Arts is celebrating the end of 2020 with a circus and drama extravaganza!
Offering a smorgasbord of live performance, the extravaganza is a platform for young artists to share their work with the public – often for the first time.

Acting Up (Thurs):
How do you survive a zombie apocalypse? The participants of Acting Up just might have the answer for you in their a short, scripted piece.
Circus troupe will be presenting a 30min cabaret featuring skipping, aerial, unicycling and clowning.
Drama Ensemble Nightcliff:
Drama Ensemble present Waiting for Phil by Rohan Trollope, an hilarious absurdist comedy where the show has almost begun... or has already... or may never...
Drama Ensemble Palmerston:
Experimental character sketches completely written, devised and performed by the ensemble. We sneak a glimpse of the lives of six young people.
Drama Studio Nightcliff:
Drama Studio are resurrecting sketch scenes from days of Monty Python and a golden age of comedy.
DNA by 18-30 Theatre Ensemble:
DNA by Dennis Kelly, a poignant and, sometimes, hilarious tale with a very dark heart. Presented by the 18 – 30 Theatre Ensemble, a group of teenagers find that their cover up of a terrible accident unites them and brings harmony to their otherwise fractious lives.
Improvisation for Adults:
Enjoy watching low-key, unscripted live theatre? Expect the unexpected as this new group tries out their improv skills for the first time on stage together.

Acting Up Palmo will put their improvisation skills to the test with a series of games and scenes testing their on the spot thinking with completely made up on the spot scenes each time they step onto stage.
Stage 1 Palmerston:
The infamous historical figure, Mr Buscal, reimagined in his infamous prison break-IN and his 1940s Darwin shop, Curio Cottage, and will bring some of this story to life for a Palmerston exclusive showing
Stage 1 Nightcliff:
Create and curate a museum of curiosities and delights in our very own nightcliff hall. History has never been more hilariously rewritten.
Drama Studio Palmerston:
A filmed news program with some of the most and least up to date news in the country. This is literally #fakenews
