Over 2011 Corrugated Iron will be further developing its 18-26 theatre ensemble. providing exciting opportunities for young adults in Darwin who are keen to continue exploring the performing arts after highschool and beyond.

Our annual TEASE program at Brown's Mart is the perfect platform for young people in this age group to showcase their art with a wider Darwin audience.

In 2010, Tease was a 3-night season that showcased a variety of live performances including dance (classical Indian, Break, Burlesque, Contemporary & Pole), theatre (stand up, comedy & drama shorts), live music (singer/songwriters & local bands), circus (meteor & acro), multi media design (projected visuals) and a fully interactive visual art component (paper based garden). Young emerging and established performers presented their own short works within the evening’s season show, and worked with professional creative team Alex Galeazzi and Jenelle Saunders to produce and create the cohesive program. Tease featured an outdoor interactive visual art installation in Browns Mart Courtyard the courtyard, The Paper Garden, and also collaborated with Brown’s Mart’s Blue Bar and original live music venue Happy Yess to present a full bodied performing arts experience for audiences.
