Corrugated Iron provides and facilitates quality performing arts experiences for Darwin’s young people.

Corrugated Iron:-

  • exposes young people to the arts as audience, participants and performers
  • develops young people’s life skills, artistic skills and confidence through an arts medium
  • provides an outlet for young people’s voice and an opportunity for peer interaction
  • promotes positive community perceptions of young people and the arts

Corrugated Iron’s annual program includes:

  • Performances & Public Outcomes – theatre seasons, community festivals, Snap It Up children’s festival;
  • Incubator Programs – 18>26 Young Adult Theatre Ensemble, Reckless Circus & Comedy Shop;
  • Skills Development – workshop program, one-off workshops, outreach program; and
  • Indigenous Arts Program – residencies with youth agencies, Nitestreet events and projects
